Philosophy

Our Philosophy

We ‘Work with Nature’ and follow an ethic of sustainability.

We build and care for gardens – a good thing to do.

We put carbon back into the soil where it belongs.

We sow ‘Flowers Gone Wild’ to increase ecological biodiversity.

We help adults with additional learning needs.

We believe in ‘Life-Long-Learning’.

We aim to educate, especially the youngsters, the importance of sustainability and soil and plant health whilst promoting outdoor play and the feel good factor of getting your hands dirty!
We plan to collaborate with like minded people and businesses to help increase people’s awareness!

In the mildly adapted words of one of our favourite philosophers, Ralph Waldo Emerson….

“We try to laugh often and much;

We endeavour to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children,

to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends;

to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others, to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because we have lived.

We plan to succeed.”
